Saxa is a small family restaurant located in the charming Dalmatian village of Čeprljanda on the island of Ugljan, right by the sea. We are the Bakota family and since 2003 we have been creating a place where great food and Dalmatian hospitality comes together. We invite you to be our guest and discover the passion behind our family tradition.
What does Saxa mean ?
The name Saxa comes from Latin and means rock or stone.
Inspired by the stony landscape of Dalmatia, Saxa stands for strength, resilience, and an enduring spirit of the island we call home.
